Cable Reel

Mining Motors is a full-service shop that specializes in cable reel systems. We routinely service the most widely-used underground reels in the industry, including AC and DC units by JOY and AC units by SMC.

Mining Motors uses OEM components and OEM cable in our reel refurbs. Our expert refurbing process, coupled with OEM components, gives our reels an extended life. We believe, dollar for dollar, Mining Motors cable reel refurbs are the most cost effective refurbs you will find. The bottom line – Mining Motors’ cable reel repair saves money and time.

Mining Motors offers a broad and expanding range of speciality projects from the world’s leading manufacturers, including WEG.

Years of experience has taught us that using the best materials and components money can buy pays off in performance. That’s why we use only FAG, SKF, and Timken bearings. All of our insulated wiring is Class H or higher. We VPI (vacuum pressure impregnate) with a Class H epoxy resin.
